World Champions and Hall of Famers, Martha
& R.E. Josey, along with their staff, has dedicated over 40 years of

During the months of March, April, May and
June the legendary Josey Ranch will host events for the eager horse
person wanting to train, ride, rope, buy that next champion or just
experience the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas.
The Easter 3 Day Barrel Racing Clinic,
March 21-23, will start off with Horsemanship, pole bending and lots
of barrel racing.
The Spring I, 2 ½ day Clinic, April 4-6
and Spring II, 2 1/2 day Clinic, April 18-20 also cater to riders of
all ages and is great for beginners and professionals alike.
Attending one of these clinics is popular as a perfect tune-up for
the upcoming Jr. World and Reunion Round-Up competitions.
New for 2008 is the Josey Super Select
Barrel Horse Sale. This first of a kind for the Josey Ranch, will
start the Junior World Championship Barrel Race. Horses will show at
the Marshall, Texas City Arena, on Wednesday, April 31 and sell on

May 2, 3 & 4 will be the premier barrel
race for youth ages 20 and under. The Jr. World has given out over 1
million in prize money, 1 million in prizes and over $350,000 in
college scholarships. The Jr. World features two divisions, the Jr.
Division, ages 13 and under and the Sr. Division, ages 14 to 20.
Come and join us back in time for the exciting theme of Grease in
2008.
The weekend of May 9-11 will be the Josey
Reunion Round-Up, an exclusive 4 D Barrel Race and 3 D Pole Bending
for former Josey students. Both events will have added money, many
prizes plus a beautiful horse trailer donated by Cimarron / Big Tex
Trailers.
June is full of action! Our 7 Day Barrel
Racing and Calf Roping School is June 8-14, our Summer 3 Day Barrel
Racing Clinic is June 17-19 and our All-Around Camp and School is
June 22-28.
