Josey Student Emmi Randolph Wins Alabama NBHA Teen State Championship

Emmi Randolph attended her first Josey Clinic in March of 2020 walking away from the final run of the clinic placing in the 2D. Since then she and her horses Penny and Mister have seen great success in the arena.

Emmi is no stranger to tough competition as a 3 time Josey Jr World Barrel Race Competitor. Emmie attended the Josey Jr World in 2020, 2021, and 2022 with plans to compete again in 2023. Emmie had a great year at the Jr World in 2021 when she finished 4th in the 1D on her mare Penny and was the 2D Reserve Champion on her gelding Mister.

After the Josey Jr World Emmie has continued to compete and train with her horses leading to her two most recent accomplishments of winning the Jr Hooey Patriot Qualifier in Liberty KY, and the Alabama NBHA Teen State Championship in Troy, AL.

Emmi is headed back to the Josey Ranch in November for another clinic to work on her next goal of running her Futurity Colt and winning a race with him.

“I like that the clinic went back to the basics,” Emmi explained. “The simple drills were helpful and I’m looking forward to bringing my 3-year-old to the Clinic in November.”
