Official Josey Ranch Rules
1. No riding bareback, double, or with halters.
2. Ride in shoes with heels or boots.
3. Sit straight on your horse at all times.
4. Never tie to anything that is not secure.
5. All kicking horses must have a red ribbon on tail.
6. No running or going up behind any horse.
7. Never ride into or sit on your horse in a stall.
8. All saddled hroses in stalls must be tied with a halter and lead rope.
9. Don't jerk on a horse's reins - you could pull them over.
10. Warm ups - all riders must go the same direction.
11. Walk your horse when changing groups.
12. Hyper and nervous horses can be taken to the round pen if available.
13. Go at teh speed you are comfortable with in all runs or practice sessions.
14. Saftley start and end your runs.
15. ANY MOTORIZED VEHICLE - ATV'S, GOLF CARTS, MOPEDS, MUST BE DRIVEN BY A LICENSED DEIVER AND GO SLOW. 5 MPH AT ALL TIMES.
