This bit is designed to promote flexion of the pole and bend in the neck area. The 3 piece copper dog bone mouth piece gives more bend to round out the turns and keep your forward motion around the barrels.

The 5/16" copper and sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation and helps keep the horse relaxed, making it a good option for horses that can get tight or brace when pressure increases.

With a 7 1/2" cheek, this bit provides moderate leverage and gag action that's enough to encourage lift and help the horse stay elevated and balanced without being overly aggressive.
